Jared is now being referred to a pediatric ophthalmologist in London. There are 2 in London - one is leaving and the other retiring. The Dr hopes that the retiring Dr will take him and if he won't we will have to go to Toronto. He is being referred because the Dr feels he should have surgery on it. So now again we get to wait for another appointment.
For those who are wondering - mulch is hard to get out of curly hair. We went to the park after the appointment and Cailyn (along with a few others) thought it would be fun to cover themselves with mulch (oh and Cailyn made "mulch" angels....you know instead of snow angels). Well fortunately we have a shower head that can come down...so I could get at her hair pretty good, but I think there is still mulch in her hair. Guess she'll get another shower tonight.
I really liked the park change. It was very easy to keep an eye on the kids and not crowded at all. Hopefully next park day Cailyn won't think about putting mulch in her hair again.

Oh no! I can imagine how difficult mulch would be to get out of her hair! Yikes! I am sorry to hear that you are being referred to yet another doctor. That sucks! Hopefully he will be able to get in a lot quicker this time. Especially if they think that he will have to have surgery on his eye!
Sounds like fun! :) I'm sure Aaralyn would have been right in there with the rest of them.

I was feeling sorry for you after yesterday with all that mulch in Cailyn's hair. It was bad enough getting it out of my kids' hair! I had to use the shower head to get it out of Josh's hair, and he freaked out and was screaming so hard (he's terrified of the shower) that I'm sure everyone on our street could hear him. So now I've told him that if he puts dirt in his hair again, he has to have another shower to wash it out - hopefully that'll scare him from doing it again!
