So I just thought about it and I have 6 days until the next crop. I'm not ready. I have a lot of pictures developed, just nothing organized.
I also need to get ready for a crop/scrapbook day from the Heart and Stroke Society on February 3rd. I am going to be a vendor for that day and asked Linda to give me a hand for the day. Gerald is going to stay home with the kids that day. I'm a bit nervous about that. I agreed to do a make n take. I decided on mini books and teaching distressing techniques. We'll be using walnut ink, Tim Holtz distress ink. Maybe white washing...but I will use Lumiere instead of white paint...lumiere has a cool metallic look to it. I think I may buy some sandpaper also. Well I've never "taught" any techniques. I'm fine with telling friends/people I know how to do things, but stangers makes me a bit nervous. I am also not sure whether I should have the mini books all ready and just show them how to make one, but they don't have to do the cutting. It would save a lot of time as I have to have enough for 50 people to participate (not necessarily all at once). I must add that I am paranoid about theft...why...because I know from other retailers that theft can be quite bad in the scrapbooking industry. Sad to say, but it is.
Well maybe I should start getting things ready.
