Another struggle with Cailyn and bed. She was soooo good the first week (maybe more) in the new bed....never got out...at least at night (naps that's a different struggle). Anyways after the blissful time of her staying in bed she started to get out once or twice...not a big deal...well it has gone to get out until 11 or 12! A couple nights Gerald stayed up and I went to bed finally. Last week we finally put her in the crib again (well Gerald did) or the pack n play (per her request). So tonight I am being the tough one - she's going to stay in bed. It's now 10:30 and Gerald is "manning" the side of the bed. Trust me it was a long struggle to get her to stay and she has been getting in trouble for each trip out of bed (she doesn't make it far since I stand outside the door). I just heard her again trying to get out...hopefully Gerald will be tough and make her stay! (he's the one who gives in usually!).
I hope she stays! Jared is getting too big for the bassinet!

Have you read the book "The strong-willed Child" yet by Dr. Dobson? I havn't read it yet, but I'm planning to soon... I've heard it's really good. Just think though, the strong-willed children end up being the leaders in society when they're older! It's hard when they're little though...
